Our first Hololens app allows several participants to explore different computed tomography scans together.
- Users can load a scanned model, place it in space and interact with the model in different ways:
- Illumination and marking of parts of the model
- Zooming the model
- The model and current state of the app is synchronized between several Hololens devices via a service
- All users can interact with the model simultaneously
Such applications are valuable in medical education as well as in the conversation of trust between patient and doctor. Complex medical processes can be clearly described using 3D models.
