InPlace supports popular Augmented and Mixed Reality devices such as Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest 3, Microsoft HoloLens 2, as well as iOS and Android smartphones and tablets. No special add-on hardware is required. - How do I get my 3D models into InPlace?
Upload your existing CAD or 3D files—e.g., from AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Blender, or SolidWorks. They’re automatically prepared for visualisation. - Which 3D formats are supported?
Currently: GLB / glTF, IFC (BIM), and STEP. Additional formats available on request. - Can I share my 3D models with others?
Yes. InPlace lets you share models quickly with colleagues, clients, or external partners. They can view the models in their own real environment. - Is InPlace available offline?
Yes. You can download models to your device and visualise them without an active internet connection—ideal for work on the go. - How accurate is the placement in space?
Visualisation is true to scale, so dimensions and positions can be checked precisely. Positioning uses image markers; on Meta Quest, placement is performed manually. - Can I display multiple models at once?
Yes. Multiple models can be shown as layers within a project and toggled individually. Semi-transparent layers are also supported. - Do I need programming skills to use InPlace?
No. InPlace is designed to be intuitive and user-friendly; no coding required. - How long until a model is visible?
Visualisation is practically instant: after upload, your model is ready within seconds. - Can I try InPlace before rolling it out?
Yes. We offer a demo version so you can test features and visualise your own models. - Can I use InPlace without an AR/MR headset?
Yes. InPlace also runs as an AR app on mainstream smartphones and tablets. We also offer rental headsets if needed.
